        Bronze Sculpture

        Paula Blackman apprenticed in an art bronze casting foundry learning all phases of the casting process from making the mold used in wax duplication, making the waxes and preparing the gating system, investing, participating in the hot pour. devesting, chasing, and patination. After this period of apprenticeship, she became a contractor at the foundry for about 20 years producing bronze sculpture of her own and for many artists including Viktor Schreckengost's editions, Jeddu, the Mangbatu Child and the O'Neill Horse.
